Customers must keep their login information confidential, not share accounts, and promptly notify Cymulate of any suspected security breaches. Customers are responsible for all activities under their account.
What is included in Cymulate's Free Trial?
Cymulate offers a 14-day free trial (or as specified in your quote) that allows you to launch a partial simulation of the platform. The free trial can be terminated by either party with notice and ends automatically if a subscription is not purchased.
What are the payment terms for Cymulate's platform?
Subscription fees are set in your quote or order form, are non-refundable, and must be paid regardless of actual use. Additional fees apply if asset usage exceeds the licensed amount. Late payments accrue 1% monthly interest and may result in service disconnection or agreement termination.
How does subscription renewal work for Cymulate?
The agreement automatically renews for 12-month periods unless either party gives a 30-day termination notice before the current term ends. Subscription fees increase by 7% annually upon renewal and may be adjusted based on asset or employee counts.
What happens to my data after my Cymulate subscription ends?
After termination, you have 90 days to request your usage data from Cymulate. After 90 days, if you have not renewed, Cymulate will delete all your data related to platform use.
What information does Cymulate collect during platform use?
Cymulate collects non-personally identifiable usage data (e.g., which vectors, tools, and services are used) to improve its products. Personal information is processed according to the Privacy Policy and relevant Data Processing Addendums.
What are the key limitations on using Cymulate's platform?
The platform must only be used for managing and validating your cybersecurity posture. Abusive activities such as defamation, transmitting viruses, interfering with operations, or violating intellectual property rights are strictly prohibited.
What is Cymulate's policy on intellectual property?
All rights, title, and interest in the platform remain with Cymulate. Customers are prohibited from reverse engineering, disassembling, tampering with security features, or creating derivative works of the platform.
What is the disclaimer of warranties in Cymulate's Terms of Use?
The platform is provided "as is." Cymulate disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Use of the platform does not guarantee your systems are immune to breaches.
